醫(yī)院制度之一。指負(fù)責(zé)醫(yī)師與有關(guān)醫(yī)、護(hù)人員定時到病房巡視住院病人。其任務(wù)為了解、分析和討論病情，決定治療計劃和檢查計劃執(zhí)行情況等。《新體育》1982年第1期：“他的醫(yī)術(shù)譽(yù)滿國內(nèi)外，至今八十四歲高齡，仍然思路清晰，精神矍鑠，堅持每周四次查房，兩次門診?！?/p>
